Retro Trifle
I can’t think of many other things as inviting as massive bowl of Trifle. It’s just itching to have a whopping great spoon dug into all those layers. It’s definitely one for a large gathering. It may seem like a lot of effort to make this delicious dessert from scratch but trust me, it’s worth it (especially as it’s spread over 2 days.) Feel free to have some freedom with the flavours and choose whichever berries are in season!
Plum Galettes with Honey Chamomile Cream
This is the perfect dessert recipe as the season slowly shifts into Autumn and you’re ready to cosy up indoors. You can use any seasonal fruit you have around but plums are one of my favourites. Paired with a softly whipped chamomile infused honey cream, they make an ideal no-fuss autumnal treat.
Greece - Portokalopita
A delicious alternative to your average cake, packed full of orange flavour and really easy to make. You start out by tearing the Filo Pastry and leaving it to dry for a few hours before soaking it in custard. Once its baked, drench the entire cake in cinnamon infused orange syrup. Heaven!
