Simple No-Knead Bread
I love having fresh bread in the house but being a mum to a little girl means I don’t have much time to spare. I make this no-knead bread at least twice a week for us to enjoy alongside soup during the week. It’s so easy and you can switch up the flavour additions and flours to suit your families tastes.
My ultimate Seeded Mustard Cheese Straws
My ultimate cheese straws are golden with crisp cheesy edges and a soft middle chock full of mustardy salty cheese. I love the crunch they make as you snap into them and that nutty flavour from the toasted seeds.
Herby, Roasted Garlic Scones
I dreamt of a savoury scone, packed full of herbs & caramelised roasted garlic with just a touch of sweetness. So I immediately went into my kitchen and conjured these up. Two batches and a couple of tweaks later and they're here.
Super flaky, buttery and full of chives, dill & rosemary. Chuck in a whole bulb of roasted garlic & they're perfect.
Butternut Squash, Mushroom & Gorgonzola Quiche
I grew up eating quiche. It evokes light summer dinners in the garden and a surprise piece nestled in my lunch box. My mum can whip one up in no time; a talent I'm yet to master.
This is my grown-up take, full of fresh rosemary and mushrooms. You can switch out the rosemary to sage for my favourite butternut squash herb pairing. I always hope it will last us a few meals but it seems to be devoured within a day or two!
Herby Red Pesto, Ricotta and Cheddar Babka
This deliciously savoury loaf is made up of buttery soft brioche layered with a mixture of red pesto, ricotta, rosemary, cheese and black pepper. Feel free to use any cheese that you have leftover from the festive season. Regardless of what cheese I’m using, I always like to add in a bit of parmesan to amp up the flavour.
